Coronavirus (COVID-19) Procedures

UPDATE 11th May 2020

Bedfordshire County Council have now given us permission to reopen, as of today. We do, however, realise that everyone’s travel plans remain quite uncertain. In March, we implemented social distancing policies, according to Government advise, and will continue to adopt these policies for the foreseeable future. The continuing procedures will therefore continue to apply to our business:

· No owners will be allowed to enter the garden or cattery area: cats must be dropped off at the back gate.

· No possessions will be allowed into the cattery: we provide all bedding, baskets, toys, scratch poles, and eating bowls, and ask that no further items are brought to the cattery when dropping off your cat.

· Only special, dietary-required food will be accepted. All other food is provided by the cattery.

· All payments are to be made by BACS transfer, or by card at the time of collection, wherever possible.

We hope that you all understand the reason for maintaining these procedures for the near future, and look forward to welcoming you and your furry friends back very soon.

UPDATE 17 April 2020

In line with the Governments recent guidelines, Crannies Cattery will remain closed until 8th May 2020. If anyone wishes to cancel their May booking please let us know:  there will be no charge, as we completely understand, given the present circumstances.

We will review the situation from June onwards, in accordance with further Governmental information, and will seek advice from the Central Bedfordshire Council Licencing Officer as time progresses.

UPDATE 30 March 2020

Following the recent government guidelines we will be closed until the end of April when will review the situation and make a decision on reopening.

If however you have a genuine emergency and there are no other options for your cat let us know and we will see if we can help.
